Lycée Français de New York offers students from Nursery through twelfth grade a classic yet innovative, fluid yet foundational, bilingual bicultural curriculum. Located in New York City, the school community is a mix of French expats and New York families who are drawn to the internationally recognized Lycée education. This population of prospective families dictated admissions materials that spoke to both audiences clearly and cohesively. The result was copy and visuals that authentically reflected the Lycée’s core strengths: internationally recognized rigor, a culturally vibrant community, and a universally integrated experience.

“In the world, of the world, for the world,” became the theme for the viewbook and also served to creatively reinforce the more factual information that was included. Throughout each section of the viewbook, these phrases are repeated, featuring specific examples of how a Lycée education provides students with a comprehensive experience that prepares them to be independent thinkers, innovators, and leaders. The theme is drawn from the school’s tagline “Citizens of Culture and Courage,” which provides both inspiration and a foundation for the content, photography, and design.
