This Catholic high school faced an altered landscape for admissions

Notre Dame High School, an inclusive, co-educational, and independent Catholic school in central New Jersey, wanted to strengthen admissions in light of a changed market that had become increasingly tight once traditional feeder schools to Notre Dame began to close. Notre Dame found itself competing with other area independent schools, as well as vibrant public schools. Its brand needed to be clarified to attract right-fit families.

Honoring Tradition with Visual Impact

The new logo honors the school seal's crown and cross in a simplified design that retains Notre Dame’s identity and increases the visual impact. Timeless but traditional typography gives the school's name prominence in the design. We expanded the color palette and added the school plaid into the visuals.

A Creative Platform for All

Visitors to Notre Dame immediately recognize the strong sense of school spirit, a stand-out factor that makes the high school unique among peers. The word ‘spirit’ also fits the Catholic school in the sense of its religious nature, giving the word a playful and authentic double meaning.
